Aviation Assistant Jobs description
Aviation assistants assist the aviation manager in the management on the status and requirements for aircraft and other equipment consistent with the company\'s transportation needs and goals. He helps in establishing and maintaining records as required by the manufacturers, and company policies. The aviation assistant helps in preparing short- and long-range plans. Aviation assistants have to help the manager to set performance expectations and conduct evaluations in a timely manner. Aviation assistants are assigned to ensure that high levels of customer service are provided to the company and its customers. It is also the aviation assistant who has to ensure that department personnel are thoroughly familiar and comply with company policies. They also help in framing and establishing programs for pilots and maintenance technicians and also for training modes.Aviation assistants should at least be a graduate in aviation engineering. An 18 months\' experience in aviation is also required. Aviation assistants should hold an airline transport pilot (ATP) certificate with appropriate type ratings.
