Finding flight attendant jobs is simple. Different airlines offer different jobs for flight attendants. Long-haul cabin crew is broadly the same as short-haul, but the specific differences are many and varied. Basic Requirement

You will be required to fulfill the requirements. Its basic requirement is the person should be over 5'2 (1.57m) in height with weight in proportion. Applicants should have normal vision (contact lenses acceptable) and the ability to swim well. Candidate with over 18 years of age; also requires fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Apart from experience in dealing with the public the applicant must also possess a valid passport and have the right to work in multiple locations. Will be prepared to live within one hour's travelling time of any location base; ready to meet the challenge of dealing with people and demanding situations; physically fit with a good attendance record in your current position; hard working, flexible and willing to operate on a shift roster; friendly and outgoing with a lively personality.

Process of recruitment

In fact, many airlines will advertise cabin crew jobs that do not need previous experience.
Many airlines advertising flight attendant jobs will expect you to complete an application form. Essential requirements for almost every airline are: an ability to swim 25m, a valid passport and fluency in English.

Initially an application form is filled out. Then there is a presentation on life as cabin crew and what you can expect from the job. They also arrange for some Cabin Crew members present to answer any questions applicants may have and tell you what it is like flying on aircraft. After the presentations comes group interview. Applicants who are successful at this stage will ask you to stay for an individual interview. Outcome of individual interviews is declared within a few days. They will be available at each recruitment day to chat with you.

Payment Details

Employees are hired on a fixed term contract for specified years. They earn excellent earnings - new contract crew can expect to earn $1660-$1810 per month after tax for the first year. Great promotional opportunities with the potential to join and earn in excess of $14,465-$45258 gross per annum after just first year of employment. Receive travel benefits from day one, giving you the opportunity to fly abroad on your days off. After 6 months you may be eligible for a position directly employed with and after 12 months you may be eligible for promotion to a Customer Service Supervisor.

As a Customer Service Supervisor promotion you will enjoy: increased responsibility as you will manage a team of three other Cabin Crews on each flight; increased pay, based overseas; additional staff travels benefits (including discounted travel on other airlines).

Details of the training

Crew Initial Training Course differs from Boeing to Boeing. It can be an intensive five week training course covering all aspects of the job from passenger safety to customer services. With successful completion of this course you will be qualified to work on board aircraft. Generally the training is conducted by a third party provider there is a fee involved. The cost of the training can also be deducted from salary during your first 12 months. All successful candidates who complete all aspects of the training course and are suitable for employment will be guaranteed a position at the end of the training course.
