Helicopter Jobs description
A helicopter job includes that of a helicopter pilot, helicopter mechanic, helicopter flight instructor. A helicopter pilot transports passengers and cargo, plans flight, following government and company regulations, and uses aeronautical charts and navigation instruments for flying the helicopter. A helicopter mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing the helicopter, maintaining stock of spare parts, and reporting flaws to the concerned authority. Flight instructor duties may include examining and evaluating assigned pilots to determine proficiency and competency in flight operations which require the use of instruments, compiling a comprehensive instrument trainer syllabus for each pilot, and planning and conducting regular classes and conferences in instrument procedure and flight clearance.A helicopter pilot should holds a license and certification specified by the federal aviation administration for work performed. Certain flying hours are required for a helicopter pilot job. A helicopter mechanic should be a technical expert with helicopter parts. A helicopter instructor should have experience as a helicopter pilot and have certain flying hours.
