Avionics Installer Jobs description
An avionics installer installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs complex aircraft avionics and electrical systems, such as intercommunications, navigation, and flight control systems.An avionics installer should be a high school graduate/GED, and have at least one year of avionics or electronic systems maintenance and/or installations experience. Working knowledge of general aviation electronic systems and military equipments is beneficial for the position of an avionics installer. Ability to read, understand, and interpret detailed technical drawings, and wiring diagrams, is essential for such positions.
