Aviation Sales Jobs description
An aviation sales person is primarily involved in applying sales/business strategies and ideas on the aviation market. Responsibilities include developing sales plans, appraising and evaluating market conditions on an on- going basis, and maintaining business momentum to tackle competition. An aviation sales executive also assures that the company gets business from vendors who are qualified with all government/foreign entities. Handling process and proposals of the management, along with federal and/or other government activities is also required in some aviation sales positions.An aviation sales job usually requires a bachelor's degree. An MBA in a related field is always preferred. A person with at least 5 years of government/ agency/ bureau sales experience is considered a plus. Prior experience in aviation is mandatory for an aviation sales job. An aviation sales executive who has understanding of contracts language, law fundamentals, federal acquisition regulation, budget legislation, and appropriations/ funding is considered as advantage.
