Aircraft Router Jobs description
An aircraft router is involved in planning of the fleet and also scheduling new routing as per requirements. An aircraft router looks after the Tracks Aircraft out of Service (AOS), prepares the reports and logs of AOS and submits them to the manager of aircraft routing. An aircraft router plots, plans, and forecasts future routing requirements. Duties include executing daily work like updating the routing systems, and tracking and allocating aircraft spares to support scheduled operation. An aircraft router receives and coordinates priority routings (yellow/red letters) for chronic aircraft issues to assure positive fix and compliance. An aircraft router coordinates with system departments and customer service department as well as keeps track of pilots training programs. An aircraft router also prepares monthly Aircraft Route Swapping Guide.An aircraft router must be a science graduate preferably from the aviation sector and must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office. An aircraft router must be aware of specialized software used in the aviation industry. Working knowledge of route system and fleet types is preferred for some positions.
