Aircraft Painter Jobs description
An aircraft painter is primarily responsible for painting and polishing of aircrafts. An aircraft painter is required to make a pre-design before actually applying paint on the aircraft surface. Duties may also include painting aircraft spare parts, repairing some parts, and giving a new look to the aircraft.An aircraft painter generally does not require any specific qualifications, but relevant experience in a related field would be an advantage. Familiarity and skill in all aspects of paint preparation, application, artwork layout, paint defect repair/corrections, cleaning and polishing is required. An aircraft painter needs to be physically fit so as to work minimum of 8 hours a day. An aircraft painter should be between 15-50 years of age and should be able to easily carry weight of 40+ pounds. An aircraft painter should be fine with wearing a full face respirator.
