Aircraft Assembler Jobs description
An aircraft assembler is generally employed in a manufacturing plant environment. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting aircraft diagrams, and performing fitting and pre-fabrications of parts so as to make sub-assemblies such as aircraft skins, rigging, flight controls, etc. An aircraft assembler works on benches or directly on an aircraft structure, inspection aircraft assemblies, and on testing the equipments. An aircraft assembler checks the adherence to industries engineering specifications, and is also responsible for creating detailed and complete inspection of documentation.An aircraft assembler should possess a bachelor's degree with emphasis in aircraft manufacturing. Diploma in aviation or aeronautical technology, and/or experience in related field is a plus for an aircraft assembler job. An aircraft assembler good with aircraft software may find better opportunities.
