Responsible for the alignment of multiple components to achieve desired outcomes and allows for optimized or integrated delivery of products and services. Integrate, monitor and control the program interdependencies among the components. Should have a broad view of the program objectives and organizational culture and processes. Is accountable for outcomes and results, e.g., timely delivery of quality products and services, products that tell a story and enable informed management decisions. They utilize a variety of coordinating, coaching, mentoring, facilitating, consensus-building and planning techniques, while encouraging creativity and self-sufficiency.
Leads a work team responsible for financial analysis in all budget services provided at the service area level to include budget formulation and execution, analysis of spending trends and projections, analysis and development of comprehensive financial data and policy interpretation for all levels of management and recommendations/strategies for management’s consideration.
Advises Team Manager on team work flow and skill levels to ensure appropriate distribution, balance of workload and specialized team training.
Responsible for understanding, communicating and articulating program status to include milestones, deadlines, and timelines for completion. Conducts and prepares periodic program reviews, management briefings and/or presentations that impact the overall financial health of the Service Units (SU) operations, to include providing supported documentation and appropriate financial data.
Applies experience and comprehensive knowledge regarding complex issues that require analysis of alternatives. Evaluates multiple sources to resolve conflicts and differentiate between actual and required user needs. Effectively communicating with internal teams and external organization to deliver functional requirements.
Responsible for evaluating the relationships between major program changes and the financial status of organizations, ensuring adequate funds for program coverage, and preparing reports, forms and schedules. Makes recommendations in situations where substantial interpretation of guidance is required and in the development of new approaches to current and anticipated problems.
Provides financial advice to management officials for proper program planning and effective decision-making. Using strong analytical reasoning to understand end users requirements and transforming them into operational application.
Requires a high level of problem solving that may involve data or systems analysis to determine cause, identify and affect solutions.
Occasional travel - The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis. The travel may be for training or other work-related duties.
