SUMMARY
Global Technical Service. LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Air Force field / depot maintenance subject matter expert for the Logistics Transformation and Execution Logistics Capability Initiatives (LCI) contract in Beavercreek OH. The United States Air Force is transforming its logistics processes and the IT systems which enable those processes.  The successful candidate will provide full range of knowledge and experience with aircraft maintenance (field and/or depot level) maintenance processes, policy, and related IT systems necessary to lead development of solutions to logistics problems/needs.  This position will work with several teams charged with consolidation of maintenance information systems to reduce size and cost of the Air Force logistics IT portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Independently applies Air Force field/depot maintenance subject matter expertise to various project / program initiatives
Investigates, analyzes, plans, designs, develops, implements, or evaluates solutions to meet requirements for core logistics portfolio system consolidation and/or migration efforts
Using subject matter expertise, lead a group through capability consolidation and/or migration assessment, then review and suggest consolidation and/or migration approach
Facilitate and guide teams through the consolidation assessment methodology
Monitor the consolidation/decommission activities
Report status to sponsors and government leadership
Works with the mission business area leads to analyze consolidation and/or migration recommendations against the business area requirements roadmap
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Minimum 10 years’ experience in related Air Force field/depot maintenance 
A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in engineering, scientific, technical or business management disciplines from an accredited college or university
Ability to understand the big (enterprise) picture
Effective project manager
Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment (in person and distributed)
Ability to work in an Agile environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
