Role Summary:

As a key leader in the Lean Organization in Rutland, the Lean Leader supports assigned Business units in Lean Transformation, driving ownership through the Operations team. The role of Lean Leader will lead, guide, and coach the Business through the Transformation. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge.

Essential Responsibilities:

Additionally, as the Lean Leader, key responsibilities will include:

* Coaches and guides Sr. Operations Leaders and business unit teams through Lean journey, providing ongoing teaching and coaching of lean principles, theories, practices and drives ownership and adoption through the Operations team

* Actively participates in Business Lean Transformation, including:

* Executive Leader Workshops

* Core Development Team Sessions

* Value Stream Analysis

* Mission Control

* Full Action Work Out Schedule

* and Gemba Walks

* Provide Lean leadership and guidance for Operations business unit, as well as hourly Lean Team members

* Provide coaching to hourly Team Leaders on Operations team

* Should be flexible to provide support to the off-shift team as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing, Operations and / or Management role

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

* Flexibility in schedule to provide support to the off-shift team as needed

Desired Characteristics:

* Demonstrated manufacturing and Six Sigma experience

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

* Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
