Global Compliance Manager
Robert Half Legal is seeking a Global Compliance Manager for a large corporation in Wood Dale. The Global Compliance Manager must have a minimum of 8 years of experience handling compliance matter in a corporation or a law firm. This client will pay up to $150K for this position plus phenomenal benefits and yearly bonus. The primary responsibilities of The Global Compliance Manager include but are not limited to:
Develop a best-in-class compliance and ethics function that protects and enhances the clients reputation.
Manage a best-in-class compliance and ethics team that promotes a culture of compliance, possesses the relevant technical expertise and develops effective strategies for identifying, mitigating and addressing compliance risks.
Oversee the management and day-to-day implementation of the clients code of conduct and its underlying policies and procedures.
Focus on the management of the clients global anti-corruption policy and the process for vetting and approving third party representatives.
Be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the clients ethics hotline reporting system.
Collaborate with other departments, as appropriate, to determine and implement compliance and ethics education and training programs across all business units, inside and outside of the United States.
Collaborate with other departments, as appropriate, to keep track of compliance initiatives and requirements issued by federal and state governments and respond to compliance-related governmental and regulatory audits and investigations.
Oversee the preparation and implementation of communications materials designed to explain and emphasize commitment to compliance and highlight the critical need for employees to speak up and point out compliance and ethics shortcomings.
Monitor the effectiveness of the clients compliance program.
Work with the General Counsel on the reporting of the clients compliance activities and record to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Account Executive/Staffing Manager
$100,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
Requirements of this position include but are not limited to:
Candidates should have an undergraduate degree and a law degree, each reflecting a record of outstanding academic achievement.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant compliance and ethics experience or the functional equivalent, including experience in internal investigations, anti-corruption/FCPA, gifts and entertainment, conflicts of interest, trade controls, data privacy and third- party compliance.
Experience working with senior management in handling all facets of a comprehensive compliance and ethics program, including assessment, education, training, audit and enforcement.
Experience interacting with government and industry representatives on compliance-related issues.
Candidates with aviation industry experience will receive preferred consideration.
