Job DescriptionUnique Skills:Ability to data mine large amounts of data. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access. Good time management. Attention to detail a must. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, high pressure environment. Able to change as priorities dictate.Position Purpose:Provide sales and marketing research and analysis in support of all areas of the corporation for the purpose of strategic planning, competitive intelligence, and achieving sales objectives. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: 1.Research and qualify sales prospect opportunities for worldwide sales team providing background information and financials 2.Identification of new prospect opportunities in the large and mid cabin markets for distribution to the worldwide sales team 3.Data mining from databases and collected data to extract relevant information about prospects, market trends, and competitors 4.Track and analyze worldwide business jet orders and deliveries for internal CRM system 5.Directly support market research manager in collecting and analyzing competitive market intelligence 6.Generate special purpose reports, projections and recommend strategies to market research manager related to developments which effect the business aviation industry Additional Functions: 1.Represent the Market Research department at Sales & Marketing Meetings, Air Shows, and other industry sponsored meetings and events as required 2.Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in aviation business management and/or marketing/market research.
