Duties and Responsibilities
(to include but not be limited to the following):
Providing technical expertise for various Army rotary wing product lines including but not limited to engines, gear boxes, rotor heads, sensors systems and rotary wing aircraft. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environment.
Reviews production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.
Confers with clients about product specifications, vendors about purchases, management personnel about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the status of projects
Qualifications and Experience:
15 years AH-64 Apache experience.
Understands functions associated with all logistical provisioning of Apache Sensors: M/TADS, EI2 camera, MUMT2, FCR and REU.
Able to conduct technical evaluation of large contractor proposal for M-TADS production, MDSA, MLRF, MUMT2, MTADS Refurbishment, MTADS RESET and MTADS PBL contracts.
Extensive experience in Aircraft Maintenance, Property Management/ Logistics/ Supply Management, Business Operations, Training, Production & Quality Management, Expert knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) & US Army Materiel Command Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA) and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).
Must have a team-oriented mindset and the ability to provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and technicians.
Candidate must be an effective communicator, and be able to develop and deliver periodic presentations, management briefs, project tracking, status reporting, and draft technical documents
Experience with managing Sensors Master Fielding Schedule and Sensors Aircraft Configuration management.
Managing fielding of new sensors systems and MTADS software.
Led weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings with Program Integrators to get updates on new and existing programs, MWO’s and various sensors fielded equipment.
