Our Corporate Aviation team here at Principal is looking to welcome a new Pilot to our family. We are currently a group of 11 that consists of 6 pilots, 3 technicians, and 2 schedulers. We are a close-knit group that enjoys interacting with and getting to know our passengers. Our primary responsibilities include supporting executive travel and helping acquire and maintain client relationships. We work extremely hard to provide top-notch service!
As a new Pilot, you would operate our corporate aircraft (Sovereign 680 ) and serve as Pilot, second-in-command (SIC), in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations and corporate guidelines and procedures. Interact with other flight crew members, scheduling personnel, maintenance personnel, Chief Pilot, and Company Officers in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Interact with passengers in the same clear, concise, and professional manner always keeping in mind the particular needs and goals of the passenger(s) for that particular flight operation.
Our team also provides prompt, courteous and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers, operates in an ethical manner in accordance with State and Federal law, the company's Corporate Code of Ethics, Affirmative Action, Diversity, employee handbook, applicable compliance and operations policies and procedures and other policies of the company. We possess a high degree of integrity and actively cooperate and interact with all entities of Principal.

Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s Degree with an ATP rating)
Commercial license with a multiengine land and instrument rating
Current first-class medical certificate
2,500 hours flight experience (2,000 of those hours as Pilot-in-Command; 300 of the flight hours must be in a turbine engine aircraft)
Extensive travel required
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations required
Must attend industry-specific training to include aircraft manufacturer's initial and recurrent training with an FAA approved training facility, crew resource management training, and CPR/First Aid training
Ability to attain knowledge of Aircraft Standard Operating Procedures, aircraft flight manuals, and Company flight operations manuals
Expected training also includes the self-study/review of recent aviation publications, Federal Aviation Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, Company Flight Operations Manuals, and Aircraft Flight Manuals
Provide excellent customer service to passengers
Strive to attain promotion to Captain through continual self-improvement and professionalism

High degree of integrity
