Addresses all IT and cybersecurity deficiencies and ensures remediation and compliance are completed in a timely manner.Provides ARP IT Enterprise Architecture (EA) support to ARP customers and IT project teams. Applies intermediate experience and knowledge of new technologies and methodologies to make recommendations to solve complex problems and develop improved processes or systems.Coordinates with AIT to develop and document the ARP EA, including the business units and key processes and evaluates the impact of EA products and services on ARP IT investments, business operations, stakeholder satisfaction, and other outcomes.Serves as the ARP IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides guidance and recommendations to ARP business units in meeting business process requirements. Assists in providing guidance and recommendations concerning software and hardware requirements, system engineering development processes, maintenance and IT security. Assures newly planned systems can be integrated into legacy operational system environments while adopting new methods to improve the viability of existing systems. Provides support to the Airports Document Management System (ADMS) initiative and provides periodic updates to the management team by required due dates.Serves as the Airports Cybersecurity SME providing guidance, recommendations, and directions on FAA and government wide cybersecurity initiative working groups. Serves as the ARP point of contact (POC) and SME for all FAA wide IT deployment initiatives.Serves as an SME and trusted advisor on the ARP Technology Resource Management Committee (TRMC) providing support, advice and recommendations on ARP IT initiatives and plans. Prepares informational and technical reports and presents briefings to include issues, mitigation strategies, and recommendations. Remains current on job-specific knowledge and trends through training courses, workshops, seminars.,qualifications:Applicants must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (FV-H or FG/GS-12) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as:experience utilizing project management principles, methods and tools to develop, schedule, coordinate and manage Information Technology (IT) projects and resources.experience providing support and guidance to management and staff regarding software and hardware requirements, system engineering, maintenance and IT security development processes.experience applying comprehensive knowledge of new technologies and methodologies to make recommendations to identify, develop and implement improved processes or systems.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
