Our growing department is conducting a search for the following professionals and we hope you consider joining our team!nPrimary ResponsibilitiesnPrimary duties include responsibility for assisting the development of the Philadelphia aviation practice. Position may provide additional support for the national aviation practice.nOverall responsibilities include program and staff development, retention, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing. This individual will also function in a Senior Project Manager capacity for aviation projects, in addition to assuming business class management responsibilities. Will ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through an internal project management system. Remains directly involved with aviation clients in marketing, project production and related issues. Will be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews. Experience in the management and development of multi-discipline teams. In addition, must impart a clear understanding, implementation, monitoring and support of company policy. Interview, select, and assist in the hiring and professional development of Project Engineers and technical personnel. Develop strong production capabilities with Project Managers and leadership teams in regional offices. Should possess strong communication and listening skills, including sound leadership and organizational skills. *LI-KY1nKeywords: Aviation, Facilities, Airport, Runway, Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Airfield, FAAnQualificationsnRequired QualificationsnBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil / Electrical Engineering.n10 years of experience in civil or electrical engineering specifically related to aviation design.nFamiliarity with FAA and US DoD aviation design standards.nPrevious aviation industry experience required.nSuccessful record in initiating and managing market growth, marketing, and business development.nExperience with aviation projects in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Delaware preferred.nExperience with large, multi-disciplined programs at hub airports preferred.nDemonstrated ability in successfully leading teams on complex airport and airfield projects preferred.nExisting network of clients extremely beneficial.nSoftware knowledge should include Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.nStrong interpersonal communication skills, self starter and demonstrated ability to manage staff.nWhy HDRnAt HDR, we know work isn’t only about who you work for; it’s also about what you do and how you do it.
