Engineering Intern
This position will learn basics around general aviation and non-hub commercial service airports projects. The intern will be working closely with both the engineering staff, CAD technicians, and inspection field crews. The Intern will benefit from hands-on experience, technical training, mentoring from a professional staff, and working within a positive teamwork environment.
Requirements
Learn the responsibilities of an airport design engineer.
Fulfill administrative duties for the office.
Assist engineering staff.
Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work.
Assist with cost estimates.
Qualifications
Entry-level experience with CAD Technologies, GIS Systems, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and other mapping applications desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
Pursuing an engineering degree at an accredited four-year college.
Analytical skills and ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands.
Ability to work in teams and receive mentorship to include constructive criticism.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
The salary range for this position is between $20 and $22, based on experience and qualifications.
