Responsibilities
Serves as a Business and Planning Analyst in the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Office (AUS), Business and Planning Division.
Serves as the AUS business planning lead and coordinates all AUS-wide reporting and preparations for and internal dashboard meetings as well as develops supporting documentation (i.e. powerpoint presentations) for the meetings. Assists management with developing performance metrics and data tracking mechanisms; leads development of the annual FAA planning process; and coordinates all AUS-owned reporting metrics with other offices across the FAA.
Manages business planning activities and supports the UAS strategic priorities and initiatives as defined in the UAS Implementation Plan. Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. May act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a project manager or team leader for large projects/programs/activities.
Plans, organizes, and coordinates the implementation of baseline performance measures and compares performance indicators against the baseline. Collects and analyzes data, derives conclusions, and makes recommendations based on those conclusions for management review and approval. Develops long-range organizational concepts and plans. Develops current and near-term organizational standards necessary to implement these concepts and plans, and develops associated management goals, standards, and programs necessary to support that implementation.
Serves as the Technical Liaison Officer (TLO), in order to manage and monitor the Center for Advances Aviation System Development (CAASD) activities, in support of Outcome 6, Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
Serves as the technical point of contact for the AUS knowledge management framework (i.e. SharePoint) and other web-based information sharing tools. Supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of the knowledge management framework, strategy, policies, process, and procedures.
Works with employees and leadership at all levels across the FAA, as well as external contacts.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED experience equivalent to the next lower grade/pay band (FG/GS-12/FV-H) in the Federal government. Specialized experience is defined as that which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is typically in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled.
Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience with organizational development, SharePoint, business planning and/or strategic planning.
You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history. Errors or omissions may impact your rating or may result in you not being considered.
