We are currently seeking talented Aircraft Maintenance Technician II for our San Antonio, TX (International Airport) facility.

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician II, under close supervision of Aircraft Maintenance Technician I, performs basic inspections and maintenance on company aircraft including airframe, engines, sub-components, avionics and ground support equipment. Performs line service functions including cleaning, towing of aircraft, servicing fuel, oil, oxygen, nitrogen and hydraulics. Repairs and replaces parts. Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure airframes, engines, and subcomponents are safe, serviceable and ready for flight. Ensures adherence to FAA, manufacturer company and Flight Department policies.

Keeps airplane in safe working condition by servicing engines, engine components, and airframe components. Modifies and replaces parts such as instruments, wiring, and tires. Identifies hazardous aircraft conditions and determines when aircraft should not be flown.

Job Requirements
- Performs skilled/unskilled duties in support of operations for the functional area assigned.

- Applies developing knowledge of vocational and/or on-the-job training to produce moderately complex work deliverables in support of departmental initiatives.

- Identifies opportunities and facilitates moderate improvements to processes and systems.

- Adheres to all quality and safety standards applicable to the functional area assigned.

- Performs routine to moderately complex tasks under direct supervision and within established procedures and guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

- High School, General Equivalency, or Trade/Technical Diploma.

- Airframe and Powerplant (A & P) Licensed.

- 1 years of related experience (including A & P school or military experience) within the discipline or vocation with demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities required.

- Developing knowledge of the function/discipline and demonstrated application of knowledge, skills and abilities towards work products required (Career).

Preferred

- Experienced working with Jet Aircraft like the Dassault Falcon 2000.

- Experienced with OSHA, FAA, Company and Flight Safety rules and Quality Assurance procedures.

- Experienced in the use of personal protective equipment in and around aircraft

- Applies developing knowledge of vocational and/or on-the-job training to produce moderately complex work deliverables in support of Flight Department initiatives.

- Experienced in identifying opportunities and facilitates moderate improvements to processes and systems.

- Experience working with senior executives.

- Must be willing to work rotating, weekend and non-standard shifts.

ADDITIONAL TASK INFORMATION:

- Maintains aircraft, components or related parts of aircraft are responsible to perform work outlined on applicable work packages in accordance with FAA, Manufacturer and company policies and procedures, manufacturers manuals and FAA requirements.

- Performs flight line activities which includes servicing, parking, fueling, and towing of aircraft.

- Performs skilled/unskilled duties in support of operations for the functional area assigned.

- Properly completes work cards, documentation, sign-offs, and other paper work in a timely manner.

- Follows standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment (external power carts, hydraulic power units, hydraulic lift platforms, forklift, compressed gas cylinders, etc.)

- Keeps shop, aircraft hangar and work areas clean, orderly and uncluttered.

- Maintains interior and exterior condition of aircraft to include necessary cleaning or polishing.

- Properly uses and maintains company-provided tools and equipment and returns items to designated storage areas after use.

- Complies with all OSHA, FAA, Company and Flight Department safety rules and Quality Assurance procedures. Uses personal protective equipment as required and be alert for unsafe conditions. Addresses and reports unsafe conditions before putting people or equipment at risk.

- Applies developing knowledge of vocational and/or on-the-job training to produce moderately complex work deliverables in support of Flight Department initiatives.

- Identifies opportunities and facilitates moderate improvements to processes and systems.

- Performs any additional functions required to support aircraft maintenance and flight operations as required.
