(GA-ASI), an affiliate of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Avionics System Test Technician within our ASI Division.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Must be able to perform a variety of routine tasks and demonstrate full knowledge of avionics and electrical equipment procedures, theories and concepts.Participate in Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA), ground control station, maintenance, repair, and documentation of repairs and status.Performs and/or assists in modification, fabrication, assembly, operations, installation, repair and maintenance of general laboratory, experimental and commercial equipment.Sets up and checks on semi-routine experiments and tests according to pre-arranged procedures; records experimental data.Perform testing and documentation in accordance with customer regulations when applicable, utilizing approved technical publications, maintenance standards, and approved procedures.Perform component removal , replacement, testing and documentation in accordance with military regulations, technical orders and procedures.Ability to read and understand schematics, operate oscilloscopes, and other standard electronic test equipment.Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field required.Training and/or experience in test or experimental operations normally acquired in the military or technical schools desirable.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Prior Predator/Reaper avionics, RF and field service experience.Experience in the aircraft electronics field.Job QualificationsTypically requires associate's degree or equivalent with five or more years of experience. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.Must be able to work with common hand tools and operate laboratory equipment.Must have the capability to perform complex assignments with little or no direction.Ability and willingness to work on systems which have unusual conditions such as high pressure, high voltage, high energy, cryogens, or radioactive materials.Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field required.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.Travel Percentage Required : 0% - 25%Clearance Required?
