The Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Engineer is responsible for performing survivability analysis with respect to aircraft systems which provide threat warning and countermeasures for threats to vertical lift aircraft. This position requires effective management of tasks, schedule and budget in support of combat aircraft design, development and test. This position is located at Bell’s Fort Worth, Texas facility (location flexibility is possible).
Position Responsibilities
Assess and influence aircraft survivability requirements with respect to required ASE capabilities
Collaborate with government personnel and ASE suppliers to effectively assess candidate systems with respect to operational requirements and feasibility for aircraft integration.
Collaborate with aircraft design teams to effectively integrate ASE capabilities into combat aircraft.
Collaborate with government and industry teams to plan and execute developmental and operational test of ASE
Present design and analysis results to both internal and external audiences.

Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering, or, at least 5 years of relevant Aircraft Survivability Equipment experience will be considered in lieu of a technical degree.
Master’s Degree is preferred with experience in Systems Engineering
Position Requirements
5 years of experience in Engineering is required
Security Clearance is required (current clearance is desired)
Experience with aircraft survivability and ASE is required
Experience with ASE system integration on vertical lift aircraft is highly desired
Experience with military Operational Requirements is desired
Experience with combat aircraft development and developmental/operational test is desired
Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
