Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Managers must keep both the company goals and customer expectations in mind when overseeing daily operations. Responsible to meet or exceed all performance goals. Coach and provide career development to the staff. Correct non-compliant behavior and impose disciplinary action as required. Understand the corporate culture, policies and goals, and take measures to implement these into daily work routines. Manage the operational activities of the department in accordance with established policies and procedures. Manage a staff with varied duties. Administrative duties include daily/weekly/monthly reports. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: \u2022 Previous airline management experience and working knowledge of AOA environment \u2022 Proven success as a Team Leader with ability to preplan manpower and equipment \u2022 Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines \u2022 Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff \u2022 Able to defuse conflicts among subordinate employees \u2022 Familiarity with MS Office Suite \u2022 Flexible schedule \u2022 Motivation to succeed \u2022 At least 18 years of age \u2022 High School Diploma or GED \u2022 Valid Driver\u2019s License Preferred Qualifications: \u2022 Previous management experience in a hub environment \u2022 Extensive knowledge of QIK, Sabre \u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Aviation, Business or related field Work Environment: \u2022 Airport environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels \u2022 Work weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 70 pounds; provide assistance to customers with disabilities The above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills required for this position.
