The Avionics Installer must remove and install avionics electrical components, fabricate wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests of avionics and electrical systems.
Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft, using hand tools, power tools, or soldering irons.

Assist in installations, modifications and the fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.
This position is also subject to random drug and alcohol testing under DOT and FAA regulations.
Six months accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.
Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred

Work overtime hours when required.
Travel to other locations on occasion to perform installs.
