We are currently hiring a senior level aviation mechanical engineer who will be responsible for all the mechanical designs, integration and testing for a variety of aircraft and drone platforms. You should like inventing and creating, while also have strong writing, communications and documentation skills. You should also have a passion both for aircraft and connectivity, and have worked around RF Antennas.
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, coupled with 5 or more years of industry experience within the aviation industry, working on mechanical systems and aviation regulatory compliance is required.
US Citizenship will be required as to comply with any military standards, however no security clearance will be required at this time.
• Hands-on experience assembling and integrating electronic systems, RF radios and antenna systems into a mechanical package for commercial aviation products.
• Experience with various fabrication processes such as injection molding, thermoforming, sheet metal design, metal die-casting, and 3D printing.
• Experience using Solidworks or 3D CAD equivalent.
• Skills in stress and thermal analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Master’s or PhD degree.
• Microelectronic fabrication and materials.
